How to set up automatic vacation responses

Sometimes some of us just need a vacation, and want to let people know that we're away for a while. Setting up a vacation message is an excellent way of notifying your friends that you're away, and will check your Email when you get back! Here's how to set up such a message:


For Wizard Users

  1. Assuming you have proper access, log into your Wizard
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on Email Settings
  4. Click on Manage Accounts
  5. Click on Modify User next to the account you want to set up a message for

To make an auto-reply or vacation messages, click on the checkbox next to "Send Vacation Auto-Response" then type in your message's preferred subject and body. This message will be sent to anyone that sends you a message while you are away.

Remember to click the Modify User button at the bottom to save any changes you make (they will go into effect immediately).


For Full Users

  1. Log into yourdomain.com/hostbaby/ (of course, enter in your domain)
  2. Click on Email Administration
  3. Click on Manage Accounts
  4. Click on Modify User next to the account you want to set up a message for

And then follow the same instructions above!


To undo your fancy work after you're back from vacation, simply un-check the "Send Vacation Auto-Response", and remember to click on Modify User to save your changes!

Now no one will be surprised when you don't respond to their emails while you're enjoying some sun!
